Setting Up Your Utilities
Water, sewer, and garbage is provided through the Town of Dundurn.
Electricity is provided through SaskPower and Natural Gas is provided by SaskEnergy.

Town Utility Information
The Town of Dundurn is a corporate partner of the Dundurn Rural Water Utility (DRWU) and the Dundurn & Area Waste Water Utility (DAWWU).
The DRWU purchases potable water from SaskWater and resells it to their subscribers by agreement. The Town is a large volume subscriber.
The DAWWU is owned by The Town and RM of Dundurn, Resort Villages of Shields and Thode. It operates the lagoon on behalf of the municipalities and charges the Town a fee for those services which is included in your monthly utility bill.
Current Rates
Rates as of January 1, 2020:
Water – $4.84 per cubic metre consumption (One (1) cubic metre equals 219.9 imperial gallons.)
Water Delivery– $43.50 per month
Sewer Residential – $31.00 per month
Sewer Multi-Residential – $31.00 per unit/month.
Sewer Commercial – Based on water usage. Minimum $31.00 for the first 8 cubic metres and then $3.87 for each cubic metre of water usage thereafter per month.
Curb Side Waste pick-up – $30.00 per month, please see schedule for pick up days/dates.
Water & Sewer Infrastructure Fee – $66.14 per month until August 2026 (If not prepaid as of December 11, 2011).
New build water & sewer infrastructure connection fee – $8,000.00 per curb stop connection (lot with no previous water or sewer connection to existing infrastructure in previously developed zoning districts). Plus the Capital Connection Levy of $2,909.70.
